Engineering Physics

Engineering Physics (EP) is a field of study that combines pure science disciplines (such as physics, mathematics, chemistry, or biology) with engineering disciplines. It blends concepts from engineering, physics, and math, turning theoretical science into practical engineering. Engineering physicists specialize in frontier areas such as nanotechnology, quantum devices, ultra-fast lasers, solar cells, and molecular electronics. The major focuses on using physics to analyze and evaluate engineering problems, covering topics like computational physics, superconductivity, and space science research. Engineering physicists apply fundamental laws of nature to solve real-world engineering problems. An iconic example is the leap forward that transistors brought to computing
